Ezekiel 16 The Nativity of Jerusalem

Then the Word of the Lord came to me, saying

Son of Man make known to Jerusalem her Abominations and say,

Thus says the Lord God to Jerusalem

Your origin and your birth are from the Land of the Canaanite,

Your Father was an Amorite and your Mother a Hittite.

Ezekiel 16:1-

Ezekiel 16, is probably one of my favorite chapters of Ezekiel. But it is also one of the most difficult to understand. You really must be in Spiritual connection with God Almighty to understand it.

The Ancient Prophet Ezekiel had many visitations from the One and only God Almighty. Each time God Almighty Yahweh Elohim asked him to do certain things. In most situations the Ancient Prophet named Ezekiel was asked:

In Chapter 6  to set his face,  'towards the Mountains of Israel'.

In Chapter 7, the Lord said to the Land of Israel to pose a riddle and speak a parable to the House of Israel.

Many of the Words he wrote about were unpleasant. Because they came from Yahweh Elohim they were true.

In some chapters like in the 16 th chapter we learn the Nativity of Jerusalem.

But what was happening during the Ancient Prophet's Ezekiel's time was also happening in times like today. So sins come back because humanity has always sinned.

Today while in Israel there are many refugee people rescued from terrorist neighboring nations these people were original descendants from Israel. There are other people that have moved to Israel to make it an abomination.

Today, you will see the Purim Festival looking more like a Pride Clown Festival.

Was God Almighty talking about the Land of Canaan or the People or the Canaanites?

Israel is a Nation of people from Abraham and Sarah.

Jerusalem is a land once inhabited by the Canaanites. So it is important to always make the distinctions when God Almighty is talking about Land and People. The people living in Canaan before the Israelites arrived had already been an Ancient horrific sacrificial place of the Canaanites. The Canaanites believed not in Yahweh but different gods. Which is why God Almighty wanted the Israelites to inhabit the place so it would be cleansed by his own Chosen people.

The cleansing never happened until the actual birth of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ came to clean out the Sins of the World.
